Outdoor Research started in 1981 with a functional, insulated gaiter to keep you from getting frostbite in even extreme conditions. Since then, Outdoor Research can be found on expeditions summiting the highest peaks all over the continent (including both poles!). Outdoor Research’s core mission is to provide innovation and inspiration for the relentless adventurer.Â
Outdoor Research partners with several organizations to preserve the environment and to educate others to go safely, lightly and competently in to the adventure beyond.
