We're working to keep good quality gear out of your closet (or out of a landfill) and on the trail where it belongs.
How to Sell Your Stuff
First, you will need to sign up for a free membership so we know who we are working with. Find out more about our free membership program here.
Once you know your brand and item is on the approved list, please clean and inspect your products as if you were going to give it to your friend. Please make sure there are:
- no odors or stains
- no rips or tears
- no pilling or fading
- no damaged or missing parts
We only accept items in good to excellent condition.
Drop off your equipment at our store so the staff can evaluate it and provide you with a fair quote based on the condition of the product, the current market, and decades of experience using, buying, and selling outdoor clothing and gear.
We will provide you with a quote as quickly as possible.
If you agree to our suggested listing price, your products will go on sale in store and online for 120 days.
If we do not agree on a listing price or if your products are not accepted, you will be notified and you will have 7 days to come and pick your items back up. If you do not pick up your products within the 7 days, your products will be donated to charity.
You will be provided with a personal account where you can log in and track the status of your products and know when they're sold.
We DO NOT BUY ITEMS or payout same day. All payouts are calculated after your product has been sold and distributed on the 15th of the month. We payout using PayPal or Venmo.
We do not accept returns or exchanges on any used Wander Longer or consignment items.
You can pick up your unsold equipment at anytime. If your products have not sold after 120 days, you will receive multiple notifications and have 7 days to come and pick up your products after which time your products will be donated. Only the account holder or approved contacts can pick up unsold equipment.
At this time WE DO NOT PAYOUT CASH FOR ANY USED PRODUCTS. However, become a member and keep an eye on our newsletters for updates to this policy.

Not Everything Makes the Cut
We have been working in the outdoor space long enough to know what brands can survive years of usage. Not all products are the same so we have to limit ourselves to what we know will last. While there are many ways to spend time in the outdoors, we need to focus on the gear that we know and love.
This is a partial list. If you have any questions, please contact us for more information on what we will accept.
How you get paid
The faster your stuff sells, the more money you make. You get paid 60% of the final selling price. After your products sell, we payout the 15th of every month via Paypal or Venmo.
How Tiered Pricing Works
We will keep your gear listed at the agreed upon price for 30 days.
- After 30 days the price moves to TIER 2 = 20% off the starting rate
- After 60 days the price moves to TIER 3 = 40% off the starting rate
- After 90 days the price moves to TIER 4 = 70% off the starting rate
After a full 120 days, if your item has not sold, you have 7 days to pick up your items. If your product has not been picked up at that time, it will be donated to charity.
